The Night Circus

Tbh, I was super disappointed by this book. Probably in part because everyone talked it up so much. The writing itself was phenomenal, I'll give it that. I liked most of the characters, but I ended up getting a lot of them confused. Everything jumped around a lot and I'm terrible at keeping track of dates, so the multiple timelines kept me in a constant state of confusion.

I honestly just spent most of the book waiting for things to click and they finally did, but the payoff just didn't seem worth it. Maybe I'd enjoy it more on a reread, but I felt like I was forcing myself through most of the book. It was good, but it didn't really catch me like I had hoped it would.
