Well this was a reread for me. I am not sure if I liked it as much this time as I did the last but let me try to word it a little together as to why.
I mean dont get me wrong it is a good book. I really enjoy the whole consept of a cirus that operates at night. Where the entire consept is LITTARY magic and they are somehwat trying to hide it a little to seem like mechanics and trick to make it more belivinble for the general audience. I like the entire idea and consept of the competition.I was still a little bummed when they said and relaved that somone had to die in order for there to be a winner of the contest I mean it just made me kinda sad and ye I dont know.

In terms of the romece of the book I liked how little space it takes. The main storyline was never their love. It is really about the challange that Marco and Celia have between each other, it is about the circus and stuff happening there. It is about how it growns and changes and just how amazig it is.

In terms of writing I find it both straight forward and enchanting. It is really straight forward in the style without just telling you stuff. It allows you to imgaian properly how things look or came to be without it being too complicated and long. This also may be due to the fact that many of us are fammiliar with what a circus is and the general things that are being disribed is mainly a extended and more magical version of what we already know.

I can not comment anything about the historical aspect of it all. I am not an historian and honestly kow nothing about what or how it is supose to be. So just..... Neutral?

I know I have  not mentioned anything bad about it yet. Caus in some ways there was not? I just was not super exited to read it?
