The Never Tilting World

I liked the basic idea of this book a lot and some of the ideas and descriptions were really cool. Ultimately, it ended up disappointing me, though. Most of the characters don't really act like people, and both major romances were extremely silly (yes, I know it's YA but they don't have to immediately jump into being in love). I was really disappointed with how Odessa being corrupted by the galla was handled as well. She did a lot of pretty scary and terrible things and it feels like now everything is forgiven because she feels bad about it. The idea that her romance with Lan could continue after the way that she'd treated her is pretty gross.
