The Name of the Rose

2024 review: I re-read this for the first time since 2014. I absolutely adored it then and am less enamored with it now. It's still a good time if Gothic murder mysteries, long asides about medieval church heresies, and Western philosophy in-jokes are your thing. I am just drawn more to other things in fiction. Which makes sense! A decade is a long time!
