A very clever mystery, with great characters and an interesting narrator in Dr. Sheppard, and I actually greatly enjoyed Poirot in this one. (I've been somewhat irritated by Poirot in some of Christie's other books, preferring Miss Marple, but apparently retirement to the country to grow vegetable marrows suits Poirot nicely.)
Enjoyed it a lot. Would have enjoyed it even more if my copy weren't literally molding. Ack!
