The Mimicking of Known Successes

Some of my favorite authors (KJ Charles, Alexis Hall) raved about this book, but I was completely underwhelmed. World-building was distinctive and I guess the mystery was okay, but the “second chance at love” relationship between Mossa and Pleiti was flat and unsatisfying. YMMV if you're more invested in the sci-fi and mystery genres than I was.
