The Maze Runner Series

Before I start I must say, if you want to read this series and watch the movie, I would recommend watching the movies first. Why? because if you are like me, and get annoyed at films for changing the story of the book entirely, then you will just spend the entire time angrily moaning about what did and didn't happen in the book. Although that is not the only reason. This series can get a little confusing at points, due to the complexity of what is happening, mainly in the second book. The movies help give some sort of visualisation, but again they are very different.

That being said, I loved this series. I would definitely read it again. I feel it is one of those series where the world and the story line are so complex, you would never completely understand everything that is happening to Thomas and the Gladers, in just one reading.

If you love Sci-Fi dystopians, this is definitely a must read.
