This was a short quick and easy read that I thought was pretty funny at times. I kind of liked the romance but I was never fully on board with it. I guess I just really didn't see the chemistry. The one thing that bugged me so much was how Simon continuously told Elise he could never marry her because of her status in society which fine whatever but literally everyone told him he could be with whoever he wanted to be with but yet it took his mom saying pretty much the exact same things to him in the end for him to have a lightbulb moment. Also his freaking dad married his mom and she had the same status as Elise did. It was all just very frustrating.
