Corny moments and writing, however, I absolutely adore Adam.

Everyone saying each other's names felt redundant and overdone. I think listening to the audiobook made it worse no shade to the author or narrator.

Olive's friend is not a real friend, she's annoying, and their resolution felt so silly. She's in graduate school, she's not in high school. The manipulation is so apparent but I guess Olive stammers, is self deprecating, and can be soft spoken, so the emotional intelligence just feels juvenile. I know she struggles with speaking up for herself, but it irritated me how much of her dialogue was chopped off because she couldn't get the words out. So much conflict could have been avoided.

Also the lies were starting to feel overdone. I like that we're in Olive's head but she's constantly thinking about lies lies lies call her Liza Minnelli. It started to annoy me.

The men fighting and their dialogue felt corny. These men are in their 30s. Although I blame my criticism on the audiobook again, I love scientists in lab coats getting FREAKY!
