The Library of Broken Worlds

I couldn't get past the first 50 pages. It was just so incomprehensible.

Even though I hate books that explain too much (see my review today of A Lee Martinez's A Nameless Witch), if your book's world is completely unfamiliar, you've got to at least give us a little help.
