I absolutely love Pam Jenoff. I think her stories are incredibly thorough and deep, but this one fell a little flat for me. The main character Addie was frustrating to say the least. She had 0 confidence and was always acting impulsively. When she ran along the beach and set off a land mine? How selfish is that?
