The Lake of Lost Girls

Thank you Edelweiss and Crooked Lane Books for this ARC. 

Wow this book definitely defined dysfunctional family and toxic males. 😲 

First off this was based on NC and I always love that. Though I don't think on any real place that I could think of - it reminded me of a mix of Boone with App State and Lake Lure with the lake. 

I also loved the college setting of the book a lot. The podcast format is always a favorite and I loved the social media add-ins throughout. Plus the dual timelines was great and the sisters were different enough to tell them apart. 

This book reminded me if you took Middle of the Night, Listen for the Lie, Daughter of Mine, and The Sundown Motel and combined them. Which was great because those were all favorites of mine this year. 

None of the twists took me by full surprise thus the 4.5 rating, but I was still not 100% which theory would pan out until the end. Regardless I loved the journey! Definitely recommend!
