The Koran: A Very Short Introduction

It's not a “very short”, but brief enough. The book introduces many topics on
- the appearance of Koran/Quran, converting to text / assembling it, interpretation
- references to the God, to the Prophet, and to the Book from the book
- and a bit of opinions from Koran on some social topics, including women rights.

For sure it's a introduction to all these topics, and if any one is intriguted, they have to spend more time reading more in depth content about each topic.
