The Kingdom

I really liked the format of this book around the trial, and it was beautifully written. I like a “cyborg character discovers the beauty and ugliness inherent in being human” story but I hate that the catalyst was a guy and the ending felt really weak. The final revelation might have meant more if the narrative had spent more time on the sisters.
