The Keeper of Lost Causes

I read a lot of unfavorable reviews for this one, but I enjoyed it. I really had put this on my list because I wanted to read the second book in the series, but I'm glad I didn't just skip it. It was slow, but not in a bad way (I thought). The imaginings of the crime were horrific. I couldn't begin to understand that sort of torture!
