Dianna is a phenomenon to be experienced, not explained. Once again she creates an unforgettable, heart-warming story in a way that only her writing can combine something serious, something comically absurd with something completely, utterly idiotic while the reader laughs out loud, screams in frustration or stares in disbelief at the screen - Are you for real now? Jesse and Murphy are one of many examples of friends who no one can explain why they're friends at all, but somehow have made it through the years despite their glaring differences and lack of communication. And when their well-oiled routine comes to a screeching halt one sunny day, the question is whether their friendship will survive the crash, or whether they'll finally look at each other and truly see what's always been there but somehow remained invisible. Beautifully written and endearingly charming, the story somehow brings up the question - Do we really listen when someone speaks to us, or do we only hear what we want to be there.
