The Holiday Mix-Up

This story does resemble the beloved romcom “While You Were Sleeping” in many ways, but it is so much more! Katie, a man's waitress, agrees to do him a favor and to keep the secret of being his fake girlfriend for Christmas so his great aunt will refrain from setting him up again with a possible love match. Fate ensues and the mix-up is such a delightful read. I enjoyed it very much. It's a clean contemporary romance and with Mexican familia roots.

If you loved the 90s classic While You Were Sleeping this might be for you, because it's almost the same storyline.

I didn't think this was done as well. I found a lot of the characters a little flat, and the “bad” guy was forgiven so fast even though he seemed to be a real dick. There was no spice and little humor. It was a traditional holiday romance.
