The Heir Apparent's Rejected Mate

I really loved the first book in this series, but uh, I barely dragged myself through this one. First of all, why did no one warn me that The Heir Apparent's Rejected Mate is set basically in a high school? This is essentially a book about teenaged werewolves mating. I was so not interested, but by the time I reached wanting to DNF I was already 50% of the way through the book. With the way I read, I just decided to finish it. I'm not sure it was worth it. I don't want to read about teenagers. This was not a hot book. This was depressing.
