Huh, I really didn't expect this book to be that good. I mean, I don't read books that I think I'll dislike (anymore) but this one ticked so many boxes with me. Diversity, LGBT+ rep, (including bi-rep and what reads as asexual rep in a secondary character) as well as dealing with illness and abuse. Ooh, and best friends to love interests and wonderful siblings. And a main character that grows by leaps and bounds through the story. (Truly, at the start, Monty is an ass.)
