The Fury

The unusual angle (or POV) that the writer used for this story is extremely effective in keeping the reader engaged, and when layered in with his characteristic mystery and intrigue, the final product works again. The shoutouts to classic mystery writers and the style that built the genre are not only welcome, but this one actually manages to both play off of, and also subvert, some of the tropes. There is a pretty satisfying conclusion, even if you may wonder how this is going to end differently than all of the ones it criitques along the way.
