The Forgiving Kind

This was such a heartbreaking story, but with the title, I thought it would be a more hopefilled read. I kept waiting and waiting for that to happen, and I suppose it finally did in the end, but it wasn't soon enough for me. The spunky Sonny, who narrates the story, is who kept me reading.
