The Fangirl's Guide to the Galaxy

This was a cool read. I'm a fangirl of different fandoms and have been so, I understood and already knew most of this material. There was still things to learn though! I didn't know about Boardgame cafes but, I definitely want to check one out. The resources at the end gave me a few sites to follow too.

The thing is, this book is more for newbie fans. It is a GREAT resource for those getting into the game and I HIGHLY recommend it to them. For people who have been to cons, have a tumblr, and/or been an online fangirl/boy for a few years, this is something to read for nostaglia. Really, more of a flip through. I laughed (out of joy) at the definition of words and showed my Fiance. It was such a moment lol, a very weird happy moment to see my fan culture in a book.

So, I recommend it to fan geeks but, it isn't a heavy recommendation. Just if you are interested in Fan culture or are a new fan.
