I wanted to love this book, and although there was so decent banter and cuteness at moments, overall it seemed more serious than what I was looking for in a contemporary holiday romance.

Themes of Narcissistic Partners, trust issues, therapy, and what I would call borderline emotional parental abuse seemed out of place.
