The Dream of the Red Chamber

A penguin 60s Classic providing excerpts from the greater work - quite how they fit in the larger narrative I don't know.
Have to say I wasn't particularly taken with these, so not sure where that leaves me with the main work - of which I own a four volume boxed set!
I think I will tackle the four volume boxed set of The Three Kingdoms first!
