Nevertheless, it is a recommended read for lovers of classic gothic literature, providing an interconnected perspective on the various social classes of that period.

Deși cartea este bogată în filozofie și mitologie, lipsa de cunoștințe a autorului în domeniul medical și geografic poate fi derutantă uneori și poate duce la unele contradicții.
