The Dark Ones

This is an interesting world, although I don't really understand it. I was more confused by things.

I liked this. There is a mix of paranormal and mythical species and am curious to see where this goes.

In this you get a human betrayed by her mother. She was raised to think that she was going to be a sort of teacher for the immortal population and that she would be found repulsive by them. That is not the case at all. She is immediately marked by an immortal hell bent on claiming as his own. The problem with that 8s that if he claims her it will not end well. To save her a vampire cams her instead. 

This was unique and that is something I rarely say. I have read A LOT of paranormal romance.
