The Dark Maidens

What a wild ride! I guessed the plot twist right at the beginning and somehow it still managed to surprise me when it happened. The setup as a literature club evening with each character writing in their own style was really interesting, but in the end some of their motivations were a little too out there for me to give 4 stars. Still, if you enjoy dark, twisty stories, you could do worse than this one.
