The Count of Monte Cristo

I will not say this lightly, but wow. One of the best books I've read in 2014, if not in my lifetime!. And this is only the abridged version. Breathtaking story, pace, suspense, thought-provoking, everything. I'm glad I finally read this classic for it renewed my knowledge of the novel based on the watered-down movie adaption! The movie was nothing like the book! almost a different story. I need to read the unabridged version now. Again, wow.
