The Cloisters

This felt slow most of the way through, as if you were consistently waiting for something to happen or the other shoe to drop. At one point, it seemed like a very simple/boring story about a few people trying to prove that magic is real and tarot cards predict the future, but without a true antagonist or conflict or drama, it just never really gets off the ground. The last third also took a strange turn away from the aforementioned and it became a bit of a love/lust story packaged with a murder mystery that ends with a twist that doesn't even seem logical or earned.
