In central Delhi, a group of professionals are attending their therapeutic Laughing Club when a 20-foot apparition of the Goddess Kali apppears, and strikes one of them dead. The victim is celebrated sceptic Dr Suresh Jha, enemy of all gurus and mystics, and he has been silenced in a manner which will unnerve his loyal supporters.

I really enjoy good mistery and Indian books; sadly, can't say I'd put this title under any of these categories.
I confess that all the different characters and plot lines confused me a bit. Maybe that was a side effect of listening to rather than reading the book, but I enjoyed the lilting Indian accents of the reader.
