In T L Swan's steamy third installment of the Miles High Club, Kate's hot new pen pal is a welcome distraction from her horrible boss. But nobody is as distracting as Elliot Miles...and he knows it. My favorite hobby is infuriating Elliot Miles. Just the sight of my boss's handsome face triggers my sarcasm. God knows how he earns his Casanova reputation--if a million women want him with his personality, what the heck am I doing wrong? Disgusted with my love life, I join a dating app under a fake name. I start chatting to a man named Edgar. He's not my type and lives on the other side of the world, but we hit off a friendship, laugh and confide in each other. But lately things are getting weird at work. Elliot's being...attentive. His eyes linger a little longer than they should, and there's a heat behind them that I haven't felt before. And then, in the shock of all shocks, he tells me that my vulnerability is appealing. But when was I vulnerable? Horror dawns...Has my boss been reading my emails to Edgar? Damn it, why did I use my work email? Oh no, does he know what I really think of him? I'd rather die than ever admit it. Or, even worse: is it possible that the man I loathe in real life is the man I'm falling for online?

Great continuation of the series. I didn't feel as deeply connected to these characters as I have in the pervious books. I was thankful that the conflict was short and minor in this book as compared to the last one. I really liked the ending and how it all came together. I look forward to the 4th book that comes out soon!
sadly this book didn't make me laugh my ass off like the first two!!!! But you know what it was still good plus it had my interest up in the air!!! At the end of the story Harry AGAIN got into some mess making his brother do a dare LMAO!!! but at the end of the day I'm glad they got married!!!!
DNF @ 55%. I just can't do it.
Everything about this one just rubbed me the wrong way - the chemistry between the two was non-existent, the dialogue was cringey and the whole obsession with the artist was just strange. Oh and the cringey roommates too! No thanks.
I do think if the audiobook narration had been better I could have just powered through, but the British accents put on by the female narrator were awful and I couldn't stand listening to it. (I am British so it really grates when they're done badly, sorry!). I don't understand why they don't just get a British voice actor instead.
From reading other reviews, I just know it won't get any better for me so I'm out. Life is too short to read (overly long) books you're not enjoying!
I absolutely loved The Takeover so I'm really disappointed this was such a miss. I will try Christopher's story as he seems more tolerable than Elliott, but Tristan will always be the superior Miles brother.
