Then her best friend’s boyfriend is killed, and suddenly a city paralyzed by dread of another terrorist attack is obsessed with Devonairre Street and the price of falling in love.

I notice the way they talk about us, using different words depending on the color of our skin, the size of our breasts, the shortness of our skirts. I get off easy, with my blond hair and white skin and B cups. It doesn't matter that I'm the most dangerous one. They can't see that. They don't know any of us.
