So, I'm totally into this series now. I absolutely adored this.

The world is pretty much built by this time – the basis of it, but in each new “world” they go into has to be explained as well and I think the author does a good job of that. I also like how there is an over-arching bad guy who isn't brought up in every single book. It gives the books flavor, you know?

Irene can keep a calm head in huge storms and she always tries to do what she thinks is right. She is an extremely strong heroine and I love her. The side characters are also so fun and full of life.

Moving on to the next book, immediately.
