Y amo Simon's Cat. Leer esta novela gráfica me tomó unos minutos. La caricatura de Simon Tofield es una de las más divertidas y refrescantes que he visto, desde esa primera vez cuando vi uno de los vídeos con la caricatura animada del autor. ¡No sabía que había libros gráficos! Me llevé una sorpresa al encontrarlos.
Cada página tiene una imagen de la caricatura relatando las aventuras, travesuras y peripecias de este gato y sus compañeros. Me reí mucho, me divertí y a cada momento tenía una sonrisa en la cara. ¡Si supieran con cuantas escenas me sentí identificada! Y no solo por la relación entre mi gato y yo, incluso por mí misma.
Por ejemplo, con esto, porque una vez me sucedió con una amiga, una hormiga y yo:
¿Lo mejor? Todo, en especial las últimas páginas donde el autor nos muestra unas fotos de sus gatos y nos describe un poco a cada uno. Jess, Maisy, Hugh y Teddy. ¡Son hermosos! Debo decir que me enamoré a primera vista de Jess. Pero son encantadores todos.
