The Boy Who Would Be King: A Fable About Marcus Aurelius

It has quality, and it does show and demonstrate some good lessons. However, I felt it came up short on stories and quotes that I was expecting about Marcus Aurelius.

Some quotes from the book I do like are:

“Life's lessons only begin with books, Ruticus said. They don't stop there.”

“Never let yourself be heard complaining, their mother told them, not even to yourselves.”

“To whom much is given, much is expected, she said again. To do wrong to one person is to do wrong to yourself.”
