This was my first book by this author and overall I did end up enjoying it but at the same time it was kind of a disappointment. I had high expectations going into this one and it kind of let me down but like I said I did end up liking it.

Nina is a 29 year old who loves books. She works in a book store she collects books and of course she reads books. Honestly her whole life pretty much has something to do with books. There are other things she does like participates in trivia nights which also comes backs to books. I loved all of the talk about books. Me being a book lover myself obviously that was the part of the book that drew me in. She also suffers from anxiety and I think that was handled really well.

There is also this side story where Nina finds out who her dad is and learns of this big family she never knew she had. This was my favorite aspect of this book. I was more invested in this than I was Nina herself or the romance that was included. There was so much of Nina's inner monologue that it really started to bring my enjoyment of the book down.

Yeah so overall it didn't end up being a favorite but it was likable. Also I had no idea this was part of a series but now that I know I would totally be up to reading the next book in this series.
