The Blade Itself

The Blade Itself is my newest obsession. I loved it!

After the first 50 pages, I didn't want to read any of the other books I was reading. I only wanted to reach for my copy of this book.

Joe Abercrombie's morally grey, witty characters were fabulous. Glotka and Logen's inner monologues were done so well.

This was a slow burn, very character-driven story and I loved every second of it.

A favorite of the year. Can't wait to read the second book in the trilogy.
