I liked the concept of this book, but the execution was lacking. There were a lot of typos and usage errors that should have been caught in editing, as well as one line spoken by a character who was not present in the scene. The book felt smug and self-referential, with characters complaining about exposition and referencing the three-act structure. The characters mostly feel like stereotypes and make decisions that don't make sense when the plot requires it.
