I'd never heard of Asa Larsson before, so when I came across “The Black Path” in my local bookshop I decided to buy it and get stuck in. It was an enjoyable thriller, although the narrative didn't run as smoothly as I would have liked. Also this book is number 3 in a series and by coming in mid-series I felt I had missed out on crucial background information regarding the main characters. A good read nonetheless.
