The Bean Trees

Thoroughly enjoyable, evocative, and thought-provoking! Kingsolver, through her many well-written novels, brings to light aspects of humanity that we would not otherwise see if we drew only from our own life experiences and non-fictional narratives. I look forward to reading her more recently published works as well as the follow-up to this one, “Pigs in Heaven.”
