Initial thoughts:
Enjoyable read. Not much depth to secondary characters, but they provide enough interaction to enable the main characters to present various aspect of their personalities. While Valenti's angst was 100% believable, O'Brian's willingness to go along with “whatever needed to be done” seemed somewhat contrived.
All in all, this book is a keeper.
