The Ascent of Money: A Financial History of the World

Definitely could've used an updated edition, as this book was written right at the height of the 2008 crisis. It would've been great to get some of the later insights about it added into the analysis.The book definitely has a bit of a bias, but does a great job of explaining the thought process behind its philosophies.
