A free 3-month subscription to Kindle Unlimited brought me back to this series, despite the fact that numerous brain cells my 62 year old noggin can ill afford to lose were destroyed in reading the first two installments. There's actually a sweet and poignant plot in here about Briar's prickly, secretive personality that masks a world of hurt. However, probably more than 75% of the book's pages are devoted to either Casey pining for Briar or having sex with him. Which is fine, but not my cup of tea.
