4-Stars

This was a great start to the series! This was my first book by this author, & I have to say that i'll definitely be checking out her other work. This novel was very sweet and had just a tiny hint of suspense to it.

Brief Summary: Thea met Logan 6 years ago in a bar in New York. They had one amazing lust-filled night together & then they parted ways. Skip forward 6 years & Logan finds Thea again on a business trip to Montana, where he then learns that their one night of passion produced more than just fond memories, he's now a father to a little girl named Charlie.

This book is a beautiful mixture of love, friendship & parenthood.

Some things that I really liked about this book?:
-Thea. She was AMAZING. I like for my heroine to be strong, which she was & I absolutely adored her character.
-I love how there wasn't a big fight about Logan not knowing that he was a father. He got a little pissed (understandably) but they both were adults about the whole situation.
-Charlie. I love how she wasn't a girlie-girl, she was all tomboy and I think that it added a different aspect to the story.
-I loved the author's writing style, it was easy to read & fast paced. I only had one issue, but we'll get to that in a moment.
-Logan. I had my issue's with him, but he really was a good person with a good heart.

Some issues I had with this book:
-Ugh. The sex scenes. I'm not a prude & I love to read a good sex scene like any of you, but when words like wet cunt are thrown in there all willy-nilly it just makes my skin crawl.
-The little ‘suspense' bit was weird, I think it should've been scrapped from the book completely.
-Logan killed me with the whole moving to NY thing, I felt like he only had his best interest at heart where that was concerned.

There wasn't much that I didn't like, so definitely a 4 star read for me. As of right now i'm almost finished with book 3 in this series! I would definitely recommend this to fans of the Romance genre.
