Taste of Darkness

Let's say 3.5*.

I really enjoyed this book– really the whole series. Avry is an amazing main character, Kerrick is cool, and the rest of the main team is fabulous. I love them.

This story... it seemed all over the place but really, it was very interesting. Things are going on all around and that just makes the war aspect much more believable.

So, why a 3.5? I think I was just expecting more.
Don't get me wrong, I would recommend this book to all fantasy lovers. It's just... There are only so many times characters can seem to be dead but, truly not be or anything else to that affect. I just didn't believe in deaths anymore and figured all the main people would make it out okay.

Bad thing? No, HEA are great. I suppose I just got bored of it.

I'm also TOTALLY going to read her other books!! A new favorite author??? YEs~!
