I have to admit that this is one of the better written romance novels. The plot was interesting yet light enough. Perfect after reading two fairly dark and serious books!
I learned about this book since one of my Goodreads groups was going to buddy read it. I'm always down to read a cute romance that promises to be funny. For the most part, that is what was delivered.
There is a romance, but mostly it is based off of their childhood, so there isn't a ton of building affection. Molly is a riot though and can make you laugh or shake your head out of the ridiculous things she does or the situations her ends up in. Of course, Ben is more straight-laced and by the book, not wanting to live a outrageous life– peace is what he is after. Opposites of course, but I did like them together.
The thing is, this book is more than just its romance. It has a mystery to it as well. Who is trying to hurt Molly? There isn't much investigating, but it wasn't totally pushed into the background either. For a romance, I think it was handled well and I will wasn't sure who the bad guy was– more like I was confused because I hadn't entertained the possibility. It was good though.
I really enjoyed this one and if you are looking for a fun romance with a bit of a mystery to it, try this one out.
