I loved this book so much! E.J. Mellow really killed it with each of the 3 books in this series. The sisters all had their own quirks, struggles, and experiences that set them apart from each other and read like they had their own voices instead of feeling like more of the same thing.
This book in particular was so angsty I loved it! The struggles that Arabessa had to go through in her personal life and relationship with the MMC was the exact vibe that I wanted. I did get frustrated with her indecision at the beginning of the book but then circumstances changed that backed her hesitation and added foundation to the decisions she was making so that was forgivable.
Overall a really great read.
This has now become one of my favourite trilogies! I really enjoyed the the first two books, and this was the perfect conclusion. I had them for free through Kindle Unlimited (which I have on and off), but I have also purchased them. I might get paper versions too, if only to support this fantastic author. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.
The whole series was amazing, I can't believe I actually finished something XD Mellow's writing is also !!!! Beautifully written.
This book was such an amazing way to complete the series, and I'm glad we got to see the lives of each sister and their journey and adventures with their loved ones.
Arabessa's duties and the burden she has to carry as the oldest, and her determination and selflessness were amazing, and relatable feelings throughout. I'm so happy for her, Arabessa would make a great king, and I love the relationship between her and Zimri.
