Swallowing Darkness

Every other chapter or so the story gets good, but it's usually just a few pages and then it goes back to being a bunch of talk & explaining and nothing happens. There's always some life threatening thing happening and yet, Merry has time to stand there and cry about what to do or she touches someone and goes off into another world on a hill where she has rough sex and grows flowers. It's getting old.
