This book connected with me on a few levels. I got a glimpse into the background that forms a great mind like C.S.Lewis. I am reminded the impact parents have, especially fathers in forming the minds of teenagers. C.S.Lewis also impeccably describes Northern Ireland's landscape and the juxtaposition of the city in the country. He gives great hope and encouragement to what is possible when he mentions his steps into the world of literature and his voracious consumption of it.
