Strange the Dreamer

AMAZING!

I honestly don't feel qualified to review this book haha.

This book is so whimsical and captivating; every page was literally a treasure. Something on mostly every page was intriguing and beautiful.

The world-building was done so well that I could see the cities in my mind and wow do I wish I could visit ^^The characters all had different personalities, goals, and fears– it was truly interesting to dig into them. The plot OH THE PLOT!! I loved it. This book was an onion, if you will excuse the analogy stolen from Shrek, with each chapter opening up more and more. More of the mystery is told–some times more questions, sometimes more answers, you learn more about the characters which tells you about the mystery, you learn more about Weep's history which IS AMAZING. What else can I say about this beautiful book except I wish everyone who enjoys fantasy and magical realism–loves the whimsy with some depth, will read this book. I'm sooooo glad I read this– but so frustrated because we have to wait for the sequel!!! ^^
